Bobs Lake is one of the largest lakes in the area containing approximately four-hundred miles of shoreline, several bays, and other connecting lakes.  During the winter, it is the quietest and most desolate place, but the summer weather attracts people from all locations with a variety of activities such as sailing, fishing, canoeing, water-skiing, swimming, boating, or hiking.  The small town of Westport also attracts tourists from the surrounding lakes.

Sunrise
"So when the going gets tough and the crowds get rough, remember to close your eyes and~~~~~~  The soft breeze was whispering through the birches as another day was quietly awakening at the lake.  The suns warm rays had not yet touched the shimmering clear water as we quietly readied the canoe for a morning paddle.  Green Bay was all but deserted this fine morning as our paddles sliced easily into the crystal clean channel which separates our bay from the rest of this unspoiled watershed.  As we rounded the island, a pair of loons happened to be caught up in natures splendor and looked at us oddly as if to say 'Good morning to you both and what a lovely day it looks to be'.  How often my brother and I thought how truly lucky we were just to be here in GODS PARADISE."        Dreamweaver
